Vegetarian Chicken Loaves Recipe

Ingredients:

Method:

Mix
everything except bean curd skin and cheese cloth in a bowl; let
stand for later use

Place
a bean curd skin on a flat tray; spread 1 tablespoon of mixture
#1 on the skin. Place another bean curd skin on top of mixture
#1. Spread 1 tablespoon of mixture #1 on the skin. Repeat this
for 6 times (each loaf takes 8 sheets). Fold in the sides to
make an 8" X 2" oblong loaf; wrap the loaf in cheese cloth.

Prepare another loaf with the remaining bean curd skins. Place
the loaves in a steamer; steam for 15 minutes. Remove the loaves
then remove the cheesecloth

Heat
the wok then add 4 tablespoons oil or sesame oil. Fry the loaves
on both sides over medium heat for about 30 seconds, or until
both sides are medium brown. Remove and cut into 1 inch slices;
arrange on a platter and serve.
