Stir Fry Beancurd with Chili Sauce

Ingredients:

cakes beancurd
-
1/4 cup oil

tablespoons finely chopped onion

1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
-
1/4 lb ground meat (beef or chicken or pork)

chili peppers, seeded and chopped

1/2 teaspoon sugar
-
3
tablespoons soy sauce
-
2
teaspoons cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water

Method:

Blanch beancurd into boiling water for 1 minute, drain and
cut into cubes

Heat wok and oil over medium heat. Stir fry onion and garlic
for 2 minutes

Add ground meat and stir fry until the meat is cooked
-
Add beancurd, chili peppers, sugar, and soy sauce; bring to
boil
-
Add in cornstarch, stir and simmer for 2 minutes until the
sauce is thickened
-
Ready to serve
