Stir Fry Asparagus with Chili Paste Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb asparagus, cut into 3 inch chucks

  • 1 cup dried shrimps, soaked for 10 minutes and drained

  • 2 teaspoons Vietnamese chili paste

  • 1 clove garlic, chopped finely

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 tablespoons oil

Method:

  1. Heat wok and oil, and stir fry the chopped garlic and dried shrimps until the garlic turns brown color

  2. Put in asparagus, stir fry for 10 minutes

  3. Put in chili paste, stir fry for another 5 minutes

  4. Put in water, stir until well combined

  5. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the asparagus is soft

  6. Put in salt and stir well

  7. Ready to serve
