Chinese Szechuan String Beans Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb string beans

  • 1/4 cup oil

  • 3 oz minced meat

  • 2 oz dried shrimps, soaked and chopped

  • 2 oz pickled Szechuan mustard, chopped finely

Seasoning Mix:

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic

Method:

  1. Remove the end of the string beans

  2. Heat wok and oil, add in the string beans. Cover and cook until steam appears. Arrange beans on a plate

  3. To the remaining stock in wok, add the rest of the ingredients and seasoning mix, cook until the sauce is thickened

  4. Pour the sauce on the beans

  5. Ready to serve
