Broccoli with Garlic Sauce Recipe
|

Ingredients:

lb broccoli, cut into florets

cup chicken broth

1
bay leaf
-
1
onion, minced
-
1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup heavy cream
-
9
cups water
-
1
clove garlic, sliced into thin slices

tablespoons minced celery leaves

1/8 teaspoon pepper

3
slices lemon

Method:

Boil 8 cups of water in a large pot and put in broccoli.
Cook for about 4 minutes, remove and drain. Place on a plate
-
Simmer all other ingredients except cream and lemon slices,
covered for 20 minutes. Strain into another saucepan
-
Add cream and stir over low heat for 5 minutes
-
Add salt and pepper to taste.

Pour the sauce over the broccoli, place lemon slices on top
-
Ready to serve
