Lotus Root with Beef Briskets Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 beef briskets

  • 1 1/2 lb lotus roots

  • 3 oz mung bean

  • 1/4 dried tangerine peel

  • 6 cups water

  • Pinch of salt to taste

Method:

  1. Blanch beef brisket in boiling water for 5 minutes, drained

  2. Skin and cut lotus root into thin slices

  3. Soak and clean tangerine peel

  4. Boil water in a pot. Add in all beef briskets, lotus roots, mung beans, and tangerine peel into water

  5. Boil for 3 hours and add in salt to taste

  6. Ready to serve
