Stir Fried Oysters with Fermented Black Beans Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 lb oysters

  • Dash of salt

  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion

Ingredients A:

  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger root

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic clove

  • 2 tablespoons fermented black beans

Ingredients B:

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce or oyster sauce

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Method:

  1. Put the oysters in a bowl; add a dash of salt and mix. Rinse the oysters in fresh water. Blanch the oysters for 20 seconds in a pot of boiling water; remove and drain

  2. Heat the wok then add 4 tablespoons oil. Add Ingredients A and stir fry until fragrant.

  3. Add oysters, green onion, and Ingredients B; turn heat to high; stir lightly and bring to a boil. Transfer to a serving plate; serve
