Tomato Sauce Pork Chop Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz pork tenderloin

  • 1 tablespoon snow peas

  • 1 spring onion, chopped into 1 inch sections

  • 1/4 onion, chopped into chunks

  • 4 cup cooking oil

Marinade:

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 1 teaspoon wine

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoons water

  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Method:

  1. Cut the pork tenderloin into 6 pieces. Marinade the meat with 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 teaspoon wine and 1 teaspoon cornstarch for 10 minutes

  2. Heat wok and cooking oil over medium heat. Deep fry the pork for 7 minutes until golden brown. Drain and set aside

  3. Boil a pot of water, and add in spring onion, onion and snow peas. Boil the vegetables for 3 second, and rinse with cold water

  4. Heat work and 1 teaspoon cooking oil. Fry spring onion and onion. Add in pork chop, soy sauce, sugar, and 1 cup water. Cook and simmer for 8 minutes

  5. Add in cornstarch mixture and snow peas, stir until the sauce is thickened

  6. Sprinkle the sesame oil

  7. Ready to serve
