Stir Fried Pork with Pickled Mustard Greens Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb pork loin, cubed (beef loin or chicken meat)

  • 1 cup pickled mustard greens, diced

  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts

Ingredients A:

  • 1 teaspoon cooking wine or sherry

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 tablespoon cornstarch

Ingredients B:

  • 1 tablespoon garlic clove, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon hot red pepper, diced

Ingredients C:

  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine or sherry

  • 1 tablespoon soy bean paste

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • Dash of sesame oil

Method:

  1. Mix the meat with Ingredients A; mix thoroughly and let stand until ready for use. Mix Ingredients C in a bowl and save for later use

  2. Heat the wok then add 4 tablespoons oil. Stir fry the meat until cooked; remove and drain (this is precooking); set aside.

  3. Stir fry Ingredients B until fragrant. Add pickled mustard greens and stir to mix.

  4. Add meat and Ingredients C; stir to mix. Add the roasted peanuts and mix together quickly; remove to a serving plate and serve
