Stir Fried with Green Onions Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 lb pork tenderloin

  • 1 cup green onion, cut into 2-inch pieces

Ingredients A:

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1/2 tablespoon cooking wine or sherry

  • 1/2 tablespoon water

  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped garlic

  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Ingredients B:

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar

Method:

  1. Cut the meat into 2/3 inch thick slices. Tenderize the meat with a meat mallet; mix with Ingredients A.

  2. Heat the wok then add 3 tablespoons oil. Stir fry the meat until both sides are golden brown; move the meat aside. Stir fry the onions until fragrant. Add Ingredients B; return the meat to the center of the wok and stir quickly to mix in onions. Remove and serve.
