Steamed Spareribs with Sweet

Ingredients:

1 lb
pork back ribs

package "Jen Rou Fen" (1/4 cup)

1 cup
sweet potato, peeled, cut into bite size pieces

tablespoons chopped green onion
Ingredients
A:

tablespoon soy sauce

tablespoon sweet bean paste

tablespoon cooking wine or sherry

teaspoon hot bean paste

1
teaspoon sugar
-
Dash
of black pepper
-
1/2
tablespoon chopped ginger root

1/2
tablespoon garlic clove
-
1 1/2
tablespoon water

Method:
-
Cut
the ribs into 24 pieces; add in Ingredients A; mix and marinate
for 30 minutes. Add "Jen Rou Fen"; mix
-
Line
the bottom of a steamer with the sweet potato; place the ribs on
top of the sweet potatoes. Steam for 40 minutes. Remove to a
serving platter; sprinkle with the green onion.
"Jen
Rou Fen" is a special type of prepared meat-flavored rice powder
available in packages at many Chinese markets.
