Spicy Chinese Szechuan Pork Recipe

Ingredients:

lbs boneless pork loin, cut into thin strips

tablespoons soy sauce

tablespoons cornstarch

tablespoon oil

1/2 cup roasted peanuts

teaspoon crushed red pepper

1/2 teaspoon minced ginger

1/2 cup chicken broth
-

tablespoons rice wine vinegar

tablespoons dry white wine
-
1
teaspoon sugar

1
red bell pepper, cut into strips

1/2 lb pea pods
-

tablespoons water

Method:

Marinade pork strips with 3 tablespoons soy sauce and 1
tablespoon cornstarch for 40 minutes

Heat 1 teaspoon oil in wok, stir fry peanuts and crushed red
pepper over medium heat for 3 minutes, set aside

Add in remaining oil, stir fry pork and ginger until light
browned

Add broth, vinegar, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, wine and sugar.
Cover and simmer for 3 minutes

Add red bell pepper and pea pods, cook for 2 minutes

Add 1 tablespoons cornstarch and water. Cook and stir until
the sauce is thickened. Stir in peanut mixture

Ready to serve
