Chinese Spiced Pineapple Pork

Ingredients:

teaspoons vegetable oil

boneless pork loin steaks

Salt and pepper to taste

tablespoons brown sugar

teaspoon tomato paste
-
16 oz pineapple rings in juice, drained and reserve juice

teaspoon chili powder
-
1
teaspoon five spice powder
-
Cilantro leaf, to serve

tablespoon dark soy sauce
Marinade:

tablespoons soy sauce

tablespoons sugar
-
2
tablespoon dry sherry

Method:

Marinade the pork loin steaks with marinade ingredient for
30 minutes
-
Heat the pan and oil, fry the pork for 5 minutes on each
side until golden brown and almost cooked through
-
Mix sugar, soy sauce, tomato paste, and most of the
pineapple juice in a bowl
-
Add the pineapple rings to the pan alongside the pork
-
Fry chili and five spice powder for 1 minute
-
Tip in soy mix and let it bubble around the pork and
pineapple for few minutes until slight sticked
-
Sprinkle with cilantro leaf
-
Ready to serve
