Chinese Five Spice Cod Fish Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb cod fish

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Marinade:

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon cooking wine

Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons minced scallions

  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic

  • 1/2 tablespoon minced ginger

  • 1/2 tablespoon sliced red hot chili pepper

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons black vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon water

Method:

  1. Cut the fish into slices.

  2. Marinade with marinade sauce for 10 minutes. Then coat the fish with cornstarch, set aside

  3. Mix all sauce ingredients

  4. Heat 2 tablespoons oil, pan fry fish until golden on both sides.

  5. Pour in sauce mixture into the pan until heated

  6. Ready to serve
