Three Color Egg Slices Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 salty eggs

  • 3 "thousand year old" eggs (or century egg)

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon lard or sesame oil

  • 3 tablespoons water

Method:

  1. Cook the salty eggs in boiling water until hard boiled. Shell and dice them into 1/2 inch cubes. Dice the thousand year old egg into 1/2 inch cubes

  2. Beat the chicken eggs then mix them with salt, lard or sesame oil and water; add the diced eggs; mix. Lightly oil a 6"X4" mold or box; pour the egg mixture into the mold then place it in a steamer.

  3. Steam over medium heat for 20 minutes, or until the eggs are firm; remove the mold from the steamer and let cool. Invert the mold to remove the steamed eggs. Slice and arrange them on a serving plate; serve
