Steamed Salty Eggs With Meat Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 salty egg yolks

  • 2/3 lb ground pork

  • 1 salty egg white

Ingredients A:

  • 1/2 tablespoon cooking wine or sherry

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Dash of sesame oil

  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 1 salty ehh white

  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic clove

Method:

  1. Cut each yolk in half lengthwise then pat to shape thin round paddles

  2. Thoroughly mix the pork with Ingredients A. Shape the mixture into a paddy 7 1/2 inches in diameter. The center should be thinner than the outer edges; slightly concave shape. (it is more convenient to form this meat patty on a heatproof plate.) Arrange the egg yolk paddies on the meat patty. Pour the egg white on the egg yolks and meat. Place in a steamer and steam for 20 minutes over high heat, or until cooked. Remove and serve.
