Chinese Steamed Egg

Ingredients:

1/2 lb ground or minced pork

1/2 cup chopped scallions

4
eggs, beaten

3
oz water
-
1
tablespoon and 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Pinch of salt and pepper

1
green spring onion, chopped

1
tablespoon fried garlic oil (with fried garlic)

Method:

Mix eggs, water, pork and scallions in a bowl

Add 1 teaspoon soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste

Place bowl of egg on a stand in a saucepan or wok of
boiling water, cover the saucepan. You can use the electric steamer as well.

Steam until pork is cooked, no pink spots are seen. The egg
will turn yellow

Bring out the steamed egg, sprinkle with green onion, fried
garlic oil and 1 tablespoon soy sauce on top
-
Ready to serve
