Shrimp Dumplings Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 10.5 oz shelled shrimps

  • 1 tablespoon lard, finely chopped

  • 1/2 cup cooked bamboo shoot

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • small amount of MSG, sesame oil, pepper

  • 1 1/2 cup tang flour

  • 1 teaspoon lard

  • 1 cup boiling water

Method:

  1. Rub the shrimps with salt, rinse and drain, cut into half. Add chopped lard, bamboo shoot, salt, sugar, MSG, sesame oil, pepper, and cornstarch, mix well to form the filling

  2. Put tang flour in a bowl, pour in boiling water, add lard and knead into a dough. Spread it and roll to a long rod, cut into 30 pieces, and press each of them to a round skin. Top the filling on each skin, pinch the edges and form a dumpling, prepare all dumpling and steam over high heat for 5 minutes. Serve.
