Pork Shao Mai Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 11 oz minced pork

  • 1/2 cup chopped steamed bamboo shoot

  • 1 tablespoon chopped spring onion

  • 1/3 teaspoon salt

  • 1/3 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • small amount of pepper, sesame oil

  • 24 pieces shao mai skins

Method:

  1. Mix minced pork, chopped bamboo shoot and spring onion with seasoning, stir in one direction till it forms a sticky paste, this is the filling. Divide into 24 portions

  2. Put the filling on each shao mai skin, wrap up. Put in the steamer and steam for 6 minutes over high heat
