Ingredients:

tablespoons lard

egg

tablespoons cornstarch

Method:

Peel the taro and cut into slices. Steam on high heat and
mash

Put the mashed taro in a bowl, add sugar, lard, egg, and
cornstarch.

Knead evenly shape to a rectangular cake. Cut into small
pieces and reserve

Half the preserved fruit, wrap a piece of fruit by mashed
taro.

Roll into date-shaped.

Heat 4 cups of oil. Deep fry the date-shaped taro till
golden yellow.
