Spice Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

8 chicken thighs, with skin on
-
8 chicken drumsticks, with skin on

3 scallions, shredded
Sauce:
-
4 tablespoons peanut oil (or other
vegetable oil)

6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
-
2 teaspoons grated ginger root
-
4 tablespoons sherry wine
-
4 tablespoons soy sauce
-
4 tablespoons honey (best result
with Manuka honey)

4 tablespoons five spice powder

Method:

Combine and mix together the
sauces. Then mix the chicken thighs and drumsticks with the
sauce and coat well. Marinade and chill for at least 20 minutes
or more

Put the chickens (without the
sauce) in a baking pan and roast at 350F for 40 minutes
-
Put the remaining sauce on the
chicken and cook for another 30 minutes until golden and sticky
-
Sprinkle with scallions and serve
