Chicken in Oyster Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb chicken breast, sliced into thin slices

  • 1 clove garlic, chopped

  • 1 inch ginger, chopped

  • 1 red pepper, chopped

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 small broccoli, cut into small floret

  • 1/2 carrot, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 teaspoon water

Method:

  1. Mix ginger, soy sauce and garlic together. Add in chicken and marinade for 1 hour or more

  2. Heat the wok and oil. Stir fry the chicken (without the marinade sauce) over low heat for 5 minutes

  3. Add the remaining vegetables and stir fry for another 5 minutes

  4. Add the remaining sauces and simmer for 5 minutes

  5. Ready to serve
