Chinese Shrimps Toast Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices of bread

  • 5 oz cooked, peeled shrimps

  • 3 oz butter or margarine

  • 0.5 teaspoon curry paste

  • Pinch of ground coriander or cilantro

  • 5 parsley sprigs

Method:

  1. Flatten 5 slices of bread with rolling pin and toast them lightly

  2. Reserve few shrimps for garnish and chop the remaining. Break the 1 slice of bread into crumbs.

  3. Blend the chopped shrimps with butter or margarine. Stir in curry paste, bread crumbs and coriander.

  4. Spread the mixture over the toast breads and grill for 5 minutes until golden

  5. Garnish with the shrimps and parsley sprigs

  6. Ready to serve
